Pippa Booker

Whilst at university studying hotel management, Pippa found that her calm manner, attention to detail and logical common sense made her an excellent event manager. Starting her hospitality career as a chef, she worked for 12 years in hotels as a conference and banqueting manager before moving into the events industry as venue finder and event manager for another 15 years.

During her hotel employment, Pippa organised well over 100 weddings, 3000 diners each Christmas and numerous Masonic weekends, conferences and exhibitions. Whilst in the events industry, she was responsible for arranging events large and small for blue chip companies such as BT plc, GSK, O2 and Pfizer, both in the UK and abroad. She then taught event management, amongst other travel related subjects, at a local college up to level 4, herself achieving Cruise Master status of the Cruise Line Industry Association.

She enjoys travelling generally and cruising in particular, photography and fine dining and aims to learn one new thing every day.


Philip Booker

Philip has 30 years experience in customer facing and technical roles. He has an ‘old school’ approach to business, preferring personal contact, building relationships with his clients. He decided to move to the events industry, running corporate dinners and conferences for up to 450 people and gained skills of organisation, logistics and planning. He has also sourced venues for a prestigious cruise liner launch roadshow around the UK.

Philip is naturally talented with gizmos and computers – some even call him a geek! He has endless patience with anything technical and does not stop in his aim to provide the perfect solution with accuracy. This technical knowledge means that Philip is your marketing, bulk emails, and digital newsletters expert.

Philip enjoys cruising, having been from the Arctic to the Baltic. He has made it both to the Sun Gate at Machu Picchu and the top of the Statue of Liberty. He is a member of the local gym, keeping fit with indoor cycling.
